Who we are

Legacy in Full is a DBA of Adept Vision LLC (collectively, “Legacy in Full,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to legacyinfull.com, our communications, and the storytelling, media, archive, and related services we provide.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, and—only when you choose to provide it through an approved communication channel—telephone number.
  • Inquiry and service information, including the package or experience you are considering, scheduling details, correspondence, preferences, and customer-support requests.
  • Family and creative materials, such as interview recordings, photographs, home movies, documents, captions, stories, names, and other content you ask us to preserve or use in a project.
  • Payment and transaction information. Payment processors may collect and process card or banking details; we generally receive transaction status and limited billing information rather than complete payment credentials.
  • Website and device information, such as IP address, browser type, device data, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from IP address, and cookie or similar technology data.
  • Messaging information, including messages exchanged through our website chat, email, or SMS, along with consent, delivery, and opt-out records where applicable.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries; provide, personalize, and support our services; schedule interviews; produce and deliver approved creative work; maintain private viewing experiences and archives; process transactions; protect our systems; comply with law; and improve our website and customer experience.

We may also use information to send service-related communications and, only where legally permitted and supported by appropriate consent, promotional communications. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

How we share information

SMS and mobile information

If you separately opt in to receive text messages, we may send conversational messages, appointment reminders, project or service updates, and customer-care communications from Legacy in Full, a DBA of Adept Vision LLC. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We maintain records of SMS consent and opt-out requests as needed to operate the messaging program and demonstrate compliance. You may revoke consent by replying STOP or by contacting us through any reasonable method listed below.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, to provide requested services, maintain project records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

Private media, archive access, and any future Family Vault features may be subject to additional access controls, project instructions, or service-specific terms. The Family Vault is currently described as a pilot and is not a substitute for an attorney, medical provider, government registry, or legally required original document.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, subject to legal and operational exceptions. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails through the provided link, reply STOP to text messages, or contact us directly. Browser settings may allow you to limit cookies, although some website functionality may be affected.

Our services are intended for adults and families, not for children under 13 to use independently. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Material changes may also be communicated through another appropriate channel.
